These puppies are so big. I can’t believe how fast they have grown. Every time I look back at their younger pictures, I am amazed. I remember the day we drove three hours to pick them up: the excitement! They were only 8 weeks old. I tried to hold them on the drive, but they were to squirmy! Let me just show you the growth.

We had a visitor again. Pepe Le Peu did come back, but this time the fence stopped him. Like everyone else trying to get from the field to the neighborhood, he was cutting through our yard (I guess nightly). I was afraid that the fence got him off guard making him more likely to spray. But it didn’t matter what I thought because Clyde took off bounding to bark at him. As he ran to the fence, ignoring my screams at 5:00 in the morning, he came nose to nose with the skunk. Thankfully little Clyde wasn’t scared but the skunk was, and he ran off without leaving his smell on Clyde!!! Close call.

Ashley was getting her nails done and decided to stop at the nearby shop to get the dogs more cookies. It’s nice to see that we are not the only ones spoiling these animals!!!

We walked into the living room, boxes in tow, ready to fold origami cranes for the big wedding. Bonnie and Clyde had already been following us room to room. Clyde plopped right down in front of us. His nose was inches from the action. He watched intently, every move and fold; demanding to sniff every piece of paper that was brought forward. He was adorable.

We were outside, completing our morning ritual about 6am, when they heard a car door close. They immediately stopped what they were doing (so much for bathroom time), they ran to the back door, they sat and waited to see if Moxie and Penny would run into the house and around the corner. AND THEY DID!!!
Ashley was dropping them off before work so I opened the back door so they could join us. The excitement from all four was contagious. They ran several laps around the yard, playing until the sun came up!

I don’t know how Clyde can even sleep in such weird positions. The metal can not feel comfortable, but he chooses it night after night. He needs a pillow, I think he would like it but Bonnie would rip it to shreds! In the meantime...Why Clyde… just why?

MOXIE AND PENNY
Penny has now fully embraced that the puppies are not too little to play rough. Bonnie tends to be more methodical and less aggressive (painful) so Penny wrestles with her the most. Moxie, loves the aggressive challenge that Clyde uses, so she wrestles him. They, of course have their moments when they prove me wrong!
