MAIN STORY

Clyde is on the mend from his surgery. For the first day or two, he was very good about leaving his incision alone. But soon, his medicine ran out and he started trying to lick the area. In order to avoid infection, he was forced to wear the “donut of despair.” He, like Bonnie, did not like it and tried to squirm any way that he could to get out of wearing it. He would freeze in place if it hit the edge of anything, but he got used to it during the day.

At night, on the other hand, when I gave the ritual command to go to bed, he would walk to the crate and freeze at the door. He knew it was going to get stuck. Lol

He would finally get in and he just sat, refusing to lay down. I timed him one night. He sat there stubbornly for 35 minutes before he finally laid down.

SIDE STORY

Bonnie has developed a special bond with Bradley. She doesn’t search out affection a lot, but she lingers longer with Bradley.

SIDE STORY

We took a few minutes to take some pictures since we had all five dogs at the house. They all have towels with their names on them, so I took advantage of the opportunity.

Clyde still has his moment when he fills the need to poop in a less traveled part of the house. But sometimes he does great. But poor Bonnie gets punished until Clyde figures it our (stays in crate).

Look at Penny and Clyde. All these dogs love each other.

Clyde and Bonnie were enjoying some off-leash time in a remote area of the field. They were having a great time and being obedient. Then suddenly, Clyde sniffs something. Bradley was walking to him to see what he had found but was a second too late. Right before he got there, Clyde hit the ground and rolled. Bradley soon smelled what he had found. He rolled in horse manure. Gross man! Why Clyde… just why? Well,... baths all around!
